Franklin Cares Cat Rescue

Franklin Cares Rescue is 501(c)3 nonprofit cat rescue that is a foster based kitten and cat rescue in San Antonio, Texas. We aim to rescue at risk felines and support their growth while providing them a future. Our current fosters are through San Antonio Pets Alive.
WHAT WE DO
Foster and Socialize
We take in at risk kittens, moms and neonates, and cats that are at risk of euthanasia from the San Antonio Animal Control Service through SAPA. We make sure they get the full care and love they need to heal and be on the mend. We work tirelessly to rehabilitate and socialize the pets, ensuring they are ready for their forever homes.
Adoptions
The rescue plays a vital role in helping to get these cats adopted by providing a safe and loving environment for animals. Additionally, the rescue promotes the animals through various channels, including social media, events, and partnerships with local businesses, making it easier for potential adopters to find their perfect match. By fostering a community of support and awareness, the rescue significantly increases the chances of successful adoptions.
TNR
Cats that are used to living outside and can not be socialized or fostered wil go through TNR program (Trap-Neuter-Release) and be released back to where they were originally found. This process helps with vaccination and overpopulation issues. This ensures that less kittens can be born into the outdoors or face euthanization in the future.
